BAFTAS

Concept of Advertising

The concept of this advertisement for the BAFTAS is bold yet elegant and spaced with a picture of the award that is given out to show the magnificence of the award (BAFTA gold and broad). This award show is posted all over the ITV website. This ceremony is also posted over newspapers, TV magazines and gossip magazines. The colours of all these adverts come up black, gold, white and the occasional light (i.e. spotlight).

Audience

Even thought this award ceremony looks for the slightly more matured aged people it is watched by all ages. This is because it is all in categories for different ages such as nominations for best children’s movie and best child director all the way up to best of year.

Details of Advertisement

The sort of things I see in the adverts are times of the show start to finish or were to attend, were to buy tickets, location (i.e. address) and type of things that will be happening in the night such as live performances and celebrity guests.

Type of Event

This specific type of event is for movies but consist live acts from today’s top music artists with a variety of celebrities hosting the awards. The BAFTAS is only a one day event per year hosted in the evening and usually one person presenting the celebrities on stage and the live performances.
